McCrae Yacht Club
About the Club
Located adjacent to the McCrae lighthouse, between Dromana and Rosebud, the McCrae Yacht Club offers a wide range of facilities.
The Club runs an approved Australian Yachting Federation sailing school throughout the sailing season.
It also operates three hard hulled rescue boats plus two inflatable dinghies, all of which are radio equipped and directed as required from either on the water or from the race control tower.
There is also a comprehensive sailing program which runs from mid October to mid April catering for the two multi-hull divisions, three mono-hull and two junior divisions. A Winter series is also held in July.
